Just playing with the @readtrellis beta. I'm a fairly competent reader. I find it fascinating and useful. How much more for a student? I'm interested to know other peoples' conclusions.

R to @readtrellis: Can't speak about method, but my intuition is that it'd involve some clever maths to anonymize prompts. And just for motivation, remember that if you don't do this, you'll eventually be forced via subpoena requests to spy for the government. Maths ftw.

R to @refoundable: Working on 1! Re: #2, would love to support that, wondering if you have any suggestions! Thinking about how we can build in privacy-preserving ML / not expose text in the backend even while using APIs for LLMs. Eventually we want to support local-first LLMS.

R to @readtrellis: - Intuitive/easy library and note-taking management. Anything that makes it simple to organize your library and know what you know. - Robust privacy protections (not just in T&C, but built-in). This would remove the temptation to self-host an LLM instance.

R to @refoundable: cont'd. - Add the ability to expand the chat window (Nice to have) - Bug report: Tapping any of the suggested prompts in the chat window does nothing i.e. I'm unable to use them unless I manually copy-paste (running Brave 1.57.47 on macOS)

R to @readtrellis: Some feedback right off the bat: - Add the ability to rename a book (Important) - There's a period of uncertainty between completing an upload and waiting for the AI to finish processing. Adding a visual indication of the waiting time expected would be welcome. (Nice to have)
