I'VE BEEN exploring where we soon plan to call home for a while. Testing gear, settings and systems in preparation for a couple upcoming projects. Pushing my gear farther than I ever have in search of new doors of creativity. It's been incredibly rewarding for my soul. Meanwhile the girls are house sitting and getting caught up on all things life while I crush an overhaul of my company. Well on the way back to the camper from a hike my jaw dropped when I rounded the corner and saw my tiny world amongst the vast nothing I crave so heavily. Swipe to see the whole scene! There's nothing better for perspective of my place in this world than pulling way back. I'm not super keen on 'moving out' of the road and back into a home, but I plan to keep it 50/50 to keep my sanity and also be able to do my least favorite thing, sit and edit. I set up a timelapse and got a mountain of images. Soon I'll be off to conquer a mountain of shooting while traveling alone for the first time since Ende was born. We all need a giant vacation from each other, but I'll miss them.
