Biography
Renkleri yeşil-beyaz, takma adı Yeşil Timsahlar'dır. 1963 yılında Bursa'da faaliyet gösteren beş amatör kulübün birleşmesi ile kurulmuştur. Akınspor, Acar İdmanyurdu, Demirçelikspor, İstiklalspor, Pınarspor'u birleşerek kulübü kurdular. Beyazını Uludağ'ın karından, yeşilini Bursa Ovası'ndan almıştır. Bursaspor'un amblemindeki beş yıldız kurucu takımları temsil etmektedir. 2009-10 sezonunda Süper Lig'i lider tamamlayarak Süper Lig'de şampiyonluğa ulaşan 5. takım olmuştur. Daha çok futbol branşıyla tanınan spor kulübü, futbol branşının yanı sıra basketbol, masa tenisi, voleybol, yüzme, boks ve atletizm dallarında faaliyet göstermektedir.
