R to @TahaTesser: TIL lol But GPT doesn't do offline, because the app is only 5mb.. So in a server they can use Whisper mega ultra 5gb model. I was wondering the one that could be used in a device locally.

R to @bernaferrari: Apple’s Speech Recognition works pretty well too in my experience and also needs fewer resources. Unfortunately it lacks an API for third party developers to manage and download supported languages that work on-device.

R to @bernaferrari: I think so, ChatGPT mobile app uses Whisper for voice to text input and I found it incredibly accurate.
