You can never underestimate how powerful micro-interactions are. Someone in my team implemented a button that flipped into a badge when clicked and half the room lost their marbles 😅 Micro-interactions and animations are king 👑

Once I realized this, I found I was spending less than half the time on assignments because I just chipped away at them an hour once I woke up and once I went to bed. Instead of struggling for 6 hours before the deadline To this day, even if it takes more days, i work fewer hours and get more done

Never underestimate how much good sleep can do 😴 Stuck on some complicated Ecto joins for hours - I go to sleep and fix it in 5 minutes when I wake up 🤦🏻 #MyElixirStatus

R to @codestirring: I want to work in the office in my industry niche in a small town and being able to choose a company not for its location but for my preferences. I can't relocate to richtown, and I know I have to sacrifice something in that equation. And it will not be my quality of life.

R to @bigtimetapin: I definitely miss the office. Having an option to go in would be great. To socialize, build relationships, etc.

R to @bigtimetapin: It makes no sense from a recruiting perspective. Uprooting lives, dealing with visas, etc. The best talent is distributed globally.
