R to @mgirkins: a design style I personally enjoy about progress bars is when there is a gradient. it does not need to be a fixed color for the whole bar. I think that adds some dynamic visuals, as well as reinforcing differences in status completion.

If I were to boil it down, it’d look something like this: (Sorry for the length, just want to explain it) People are fundamentally self interested Moral frameworks (either secular or religious) are created by people in power to advance their interests People really only follow them in order to advance their own interests If you wanted to predict someone’s actions, and that person had two choices: 1) something that followed their moral framework 2) something that gave them greater benefit (either social or economic) I guess you’re far more likely to be right if you bet on option 2. It’s why you see “devout” Christians worth tens of millions of dollars (even though Matthew 19:24 said, “it’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God”) And socialists often lose their socialist luster when they become rich: or at least come up with a justification for their own wealth. Even Bernie Sanders. Basically, an atheist says that God is bs and tries to create their own moral framework. I think that their moral framework is bs too. However (as this post alluded to), I think there’s a lot of wisdom in holy books.
