In around 200,000 photos, we have successfully identified the presence of a dedicated workspace. The machine learning algorithms we employ are based on probability calculus. We don't use #chatGPT (it's too slow and expensive). The free YOLO5 library from @ultralytics is perfect for what we need. If our system claims with 95% certainty that there is a chair in the photo, it is usually accurate. Sometimes, the probability is only 70%, so instead of an ergonomic chair, you might see an exercise bike, a lounge chair, or a similar object in those cases. We estimate that there are approximately 100,000 hotel rooms and apartments worldwide equipped with comfortable workspaces for remote work.
