Angst directed by Gerald Kargl Verdict: Maybe the most realistic serial killer movie ever made. When it is at it’s best, you are in his mind, hearing his thoughts, hearing how he got to this point, hearing what makes a serial killer a serial killer. At its worst, it is unbearably slow with essentially nothing happening. Hearing it is one of Gaspar Noe’s favorite film and a huge inspiration made me want to see it, and it was good. The first half is significantly better than the second, bar some scenes at the end. Learning that this is true, and the actual story is somehow even worse, makes it a bit more intriguing. Brief Overview (no spoilers): After bring released from prison, a man quickly reverts back to his old, twisted ways. ————————————- My Thoughts (SPOILERS!!): The first half was so good that the second half was a total letdown.
