Jumped on this trend last night and it was 💣💥💣 Sushi is definitely one of my fave things to eat and I don't usually mess around with preparing it at home, but this was so easy and fun to make ! 🤩 Save this easy recipe: ⭐️ Crispy Rice Sushi Waffle ⭐️ Ingredients: 1 cup cooked sushi rice sushi grade tuna sushi grade salmon avocado, cubed cucumber, cubed ponzu sauce (honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar) spicy mayo black sesame seeds Directions: 1. After cooking according to label, press and pack the rice into hot waffle iron. Cook until crispy (I could have cooked mine a bit more but didn't want it to be too hard) 2. Cube fish, avocado, and cucumber. Alternate placement in waffle squares 3. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar together. You could also make this gluten-free by using tamari (I didn't measure because I didn't make very much, but a few tablespoons of each will work) 4. Drizzle the ponzu and spicy mayo over the sushi.
