The word ecology is derived from the Greek oikos, the word for home. — Robin Wall Kimmerer 🌀Repairing the ecological mind🌀 Somewhere down the evolutionary path, the majority of humanity severed it’s profound connection to the natural world. When we trace back all ancestral lines, we can tell there was a natural and deeper embodiment to our role and responsibility amongst the greater ecological community. Where in modern history did humans forget that we are direct extensions of nature? Most modern humans live in a sort of cultural amnesia, unaware of our ancestral or ecological belonging. This disconnection directly impairs our fine tuned sensory system, our nervous system, our intuition, our sense of belonging, and our deeper WHY to this mysterious life. Connecting to the psyche, intimately enables a stronger connection to the greater flow of life and creation. 🌀🌀Tuning into the ecological mind is a rite of passage🌀🌀 it is never too late to begin the journey of reclaiming our innate connection to our source.
