Hello ☀️day! How cool is this 3D printed Delft Blue ceramics gate designed by @studio.rap ?? It's a giant puzzle consisting of 4.000 Delft Blue tiles of 50 cm x 30 cm; each one unique and 3D printed! ℹ️ You can find them in the 2 gates through which you enter the gardens of the Poort Meesters housing project designed by @vya_architects for @bpd_nl and @ballastnedamdevelopment which has just been delivered! ♻️ The, energy neutral, residential building consists of 59 town houses and 55 apartments forming a new neighborhood around a green, shared courtyard. The courtyard is a 2.000 m² green roof garden, built on top of the parking garage. 💧The whole roof houses a layer of 10 cm buffer in which rainwater can be retained In this way they can store more than 500,000 liters of rainwater! 📶 By means of highly advanced measuring equipment in combination with a weather station, we ensure that we have enough water storage for a dry period.
