It’s My Birthday 🥳 Here are some things I’ve learned at 33… True love and soulmates do in fact exist 🤞🏽 Having a baby boy is a wild ride. I went into it feeling mentally unprepared and I was right lol. But I LOVE that lil monster 😮‍💨 The worlds timeline will never match your own. Everybody’s story looks different and that’s ok. It all works out in the end how it’s suppose to 🤞🏽 You can’t force someone to love you “right”. Not a bf. Not a husband. Not a friend. And not a parent. Trial and error with my dad has taught me the harsh reality - he just doesn’t love me like that. It is what it is and that is ok. ESPECIALLY when you won the MOM lottery ☺️ Owning your own house is really lit. I love it here 🙌🏽 Keeping plants alive is harder than keeping kids alive 🥹 Having two kids is ghetto lol. Especially when you start over. BUT the oldest is the biggest blessing especially when she’s a girl 💛 It is in fact true that black women age like fine wine. So much better with time 😌 Once your over 30, you are tired. Even when I’m not tired, being tired again is chasing me 😅 A clean house is indeed connected to my mental health somehow 🤨 Being negative and hateful to someone who wronged you just takes too much energy. Just move on 👌🏽 I really do have the things I prayed for years ago. Not a brag but I am BLESSED. 🙏🏽 My body NEEDS water, vitamins, and REST. It’s essential. 👌🏽 Sometimes we meet people that are only meant to be in our life for a season. If we’re really lucky we meet people that become more like family.
