❄❄❄Shiver❄❄❄ Do you have a shelf for favorite books?? Shiver By: @authorallier 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 All the stars for this book!! When someone asks me what my favorite thriller is, this is it!! There's nothing I would change! And one day I'll have forgotten enough details that I'll read it again!😆 ❄ I wanted to highlight this book because for many it's so hot out I think a chilly, locked-room thriller is just what you need, and even though I read this two years ago, I still think about how amazing it was! ❄ Five friends reunite at a ski resort but the chance to reminisce quickly shifts as one of them is determined to find out what happened to their friend 10 years ago. ❄ The dual timeline worked great as we get the dynamic of the friends from 10 years ago and the tension from the group now. The missing member had unlikable qualities but no one seemed more or less guilty of her disappearance. This established such a captivating story both past and present because as a reader you're looking for different suspects and different explanations. Another quality I enjoy from any book is the chance to learn something, even from a thriller. SHIVER brought me into the world of skiing and snowboarding and I loved it! Reynolds writes with such fluid description that I felt present alongside the characters! ❄ If you haven't read SHIVER yet I highly recommend it!!
