🏰The Palace of the Lost City Resort South Africa 🇿🇦 from the movie “Blended” was one place we will never forget. A few hours’ drive west of Johannesburg South Africa, the resort is massive, with architecture rarely seen in modern construction. Inspired by ancient African legends and built to resemble a lost African palace, it does a perfect job of doing that. 🏊‍♀️The resort boasts an impressive swimming pool known as the “Royal Baths,” featuring intricate mosaics, waterfalls, and even a hidden grotto. The resort also offers wildlife 🦒 encounters within its grounds, providing breathtaking views. 📜The Legend of the Lost City: The resort is built around the fictional story of a lost African kingdom, creating an immersive experience we can attest to with its themed decor and ambiance. Luxury Accommodations: Our room was massive, with awesome views of the local wildlife park. The room was designed with an African theme. The resort truly provided a unique and unforgettable experience. 🚗 We rented a car and contrary to the stories we heard of the dangers there. It was actually the best driving experience we’ve had in all the African countries we’ve been to 👍 . Road systems are fantastic and we always felt safe. We’ve been to a lot of countries to compare to.
