Who’s going to the movie?!! 🎀💖🎀👛🎟️ When I was a little girl my very favourite Barbie was my “lifeguard” Barbie. She had blonde highlights in her hair, wore a bikini with her uniform, and planted the seed of aspiration for what I wanted to be one day. Fast forward ten years and I was chief lifeguard at my pool, we wore bikinis with our uniforms, and I feel humbled to know I was able to save lives in that position. I think a lot of who I am today can connect back to my dreams as a child. I’m no longer working an active lifeguard, but I still love the water just as much, and I feel so fortunate to be able to share that with you guys. I’m not joking when I say I feel like I lived out my mermaid Barbie dream life these past few months in Australia. I hope if anyone younger is watching this, you take away the message that whatever you dream, you really can achieve. Don’t let anyone tell you that your ambitions are too outlandish, too “extra,” too little, or too much. If you want to travel the world taking pictures of things that make you smile, surround yourself with people who will stand behind you as you work towards that.
