One of my favorite sets to work on was Namor’s hut. I designed a contemporary take on the Bonampak style of Mayan mural painting to tell Namor’s story through time. Hannah and I worked with a scholar of Mayan glyphs to create a glyph layout that narrates the imagery. Everything was painted on site with brush. Set was crazy.
