Jumping on the #7summersago bandwagon but this one has special meaning. I turn 37 in a couple of days, which means 7 summers ago was my 30th birthday and I went through somewhat of a 1/4 life crisis if you will. I was so anxious about our future, my career, my kids (who were 9, 4 and less than 1 at the time). I didn’t know where we would settle down, we were contemplating a huge move at the time. and all the uncertainty made my head spin and filled me with intense anxiety. It didn’t help that a year later Shani had her accident and the anxiety just grew. I remember feeling so unsure about so many things. I wish I could tell 30 year old me not to worry…. Things work out and sometimes things that look like the worst thing end up being the biggest blessing. Over the past 7 years the kids grew, the twins are about to be Juniors in high school, Zevy is starting middle school and benny is going into 3rd grade. The worries I had for them seem insignificant now. We finally bought w house 2 years ago and are settled. I got promoted and became a principal.
