BASQUIAT × WARHOL at Louis Vuitton Foundation, Paris 🇫🇷 @fondationlv Felt so blessed to make it to this exhibition, and too inspired to not make this into a reel 😍❤️ The exhibition displays in all 4 levels of the building, I can’t get enough of them, hope to visit again! 🔥 More details: «  Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) said he had worked on « a million canvases » with Andy Warhol (1928-1987). The truth is closer to 160, but the figure remains considerable in view of the formats produced and the brevity of their collaboration, from 1983 to 1985. The exhibition « Jean-Michel Basquiat x Andy Warhol, four-handed » is devoted to an exceptional adventure that brings together two of the most celebrated artists of the second half of the 20th century in the particular context of the Downtown New York art scene of the 1980s. Basquiat and Warhol together signed canvases that are among the largest they have ever produced, sometimes also among the most astonishing. The “most successful” ones, said Warhol, are those where “one cannot say who did what”.
