I got sooo many questions about how i take these down and what thread i use after i posted my last African threading video, so I made a tutorial. I don’t do my knots tightly, i do them in a way that I can easily slide them out to avoid using scissors. I left them in for 2.5 weeks. Within that time, i worked out almost everyday, went to a concert, it rained several times on my hair, i forgot to tie my hair with a satin scarf on most days…i did a lot with them so they became rough quickly but I usually keep them in for 2-3 weeks regardless, so i didn’t mind taking them out. I washed and conditioned with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner infused with plant protein, coconut & rosemary from @eshanatural just to give my hair extra moisture and strength.
