TIPS FOR A SMOOTH RUNNING BRIDAL PREP. The morning of your wedding can be as calm or as chaotic as you make it. Working on weddings for the past 14years there a things I have observed that really do help to make it as smooth as possible. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions and things I like to point out in the run up. * Delegate - give each member of the bridal party a job. Someone to make the drinks, someone to dress the children, someone to point out where everything is to the photographer and so on. Most things can be solved without stressing out an anxious Bride. * Listen to your suppliers on timings. We don’t place you last for hair or make up for a very good reason. One or two from last is best. * Aim to be in your dress an hour before the ceremony/ departure time. * Be ready to sit in the chair. Clean faces and clean hair. - it makes everything run much more smoothly during bridal prep. Sometimes we run quicker or a little behind but a bum needs to be in a seat at all times 😂 * The same goes for fake tanning and nail painting on the morning of … yes bridesmaids we’re looking at you 😉 * Exchange bridal party cards and gifts the night before - and if you’re a cryer then open your grooms gift prior to make up. * Steam dresses the night before - steamers and busy rooms with lots of people, heat appliances and make up do not mix. * Have your touch up bag sorted the night before. Having these few things in place really do help to make for a smooth running experience. What have I forgotten?
