A colleague asked me about this image, wondering which part of it is real. Of course, we could now delve into the philosophical debate of what is truly real. Is what we see and hear real, or are we living in a matrix where nothing we experience is genuine? However, that discussion would likely go beyond the scope here. Let's get back to the image. Every aspect of it was generated using AI. The stag, the mountains, the sky, the plants, the river—everything was artificially created. Using modern tools like Midjourney, one can even zoom out from the original generated image, and Midjourney extends the background and creates new objects, as seen in this case with the small river. Moreover, the process can be reversed. You can upload an image, and AI will describe it. This image generated the following description: "A stag on top of a hill in the middle of a forest, in the style of realistic depiction of light, exotic fantasy landscapes, photorealistic pastiche, Eduard Gaertner, UHD image, mountainous vistas, dark palette - AR 4:5." In the past, it was painters who could create images like these, then photographers, and now anyone with a bit of imagination and access to a PC can do it.
