This bread will self destruct in… well, maybe not self destruct, but I bet it’ll disappear pretty quickly! 😜 ⠀ Lately, we’ve been making a lot of cookies and while making some White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies I had a thought! Why not try that combo out in a Sourdough bread! Mission accepted!! ⠀ And let me just say that the smell of this one coming out of the oven was nothing short of incredible! The hardest part about making this bread is waiting to cut it open!! Recipe⬇️⬇️⬇️ ⠀ White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Sourdough Recipe ⠀ Mix 350g @kingarthurbaking Bread Flour, 25g @kingarthurbaking Whole Wheat Flour, 280g water, and 70g levain. Let sit for 30 min. Added 7g sea salt and 10g brown sugar. Let sit for 5 min. Added 40g white chocolate chips and 35g macadamia nuts. Let sit for 30 min. Followed by 6 coil folds separated by 30-45 min. Let sit for 30 min to finish bulk. Shaped and into fridge for 12 hrs. Bulk temp was 76-78F. Baked in @challengerbreadware at 500F covered for first 15 min. Lowered temp to 425F for 10 min uncovered.
