Our Romance Tropes Happy 18th Anniversary to my favorite bookish boyfriend, partner, spouse and husband. Swipe to see our love story in tropes! Friends to More- we first met as Freshmen at a winter formal through mutual friends, but it wasn’t until a couple years later that the timing was right. Meet Cute- we met again the summer between our Junior and Senior years at @barleysknoxville in the Old City when some mutual friends decided to meet up. It was a night of endless laughter, and I knew he was THE ONE. Cinnamon Roll- after a challenging previous relationship, he came along and reminded me that there are good men in the world, and he knows how to treat me right. I am so thankful he’s one of the good, good guys. HEA- no 3rd act break up for us, once we met, we were inseparable. College Sweethearts- He, an athlete at UT and me, a Tennessee girl by birth- both bleed orange through and through. It’s hard to believe we’ve almost been together (dating and married) for more years than not, and we have two beautiful, kind, amazing children.
