To represent your country on the international stage is a massive achievement, to win is a dream come true. Congratulations to last year’s Vice President James Forward (BB ‘21 & ‘23) who became an U23 World Champion in the GB Men’s Four with a time of 05:47.08. A huge achievement well deserved! Brendan Gliddon did it again, his third GB Men’s Eight to take gold at the U23 World Championships in as many years. 3/3. We’re lucky to have him. And congratulations too to Jack Tottem (BB ‘22) who fought a hard race with the GB Women’s Eight, missing out on bronze by only 0.06 of a second. Such close margins are a testament to all the athletes racing and pushing themselves to the absolute maximum.
