A lot of people are leaving Canada. It’s becoming so unaffordable for the younger generations. The demand for housing is extremely high, while supply is very low. There are way too many rules around building additional dwelling, the time for to build a condo is roughly 5-7 years, and we’re expecting 400k new immigrants every year. It's just simply unsustainable. I’ve seen videos of immigrants and refugees in various Canadian cities (including my own) living in tents because there’s just no homes available.
