🫶 todays reminder: "Your “lower belly pooch” is not a flaw. It doesn’t need (or deserve) to be hidden. This vid was taken first thing in the morning, before I had anything to eat or drink & this is how my belly naturally is… it ALWAYS pokes out at the bottom. Idk about you but the messaging I’ve grown up around is that if you have a lower belly bump, it means you have a “poor diet, not enough exercise, not enough sleep” & you’re “unhealthy”. But that’s not always the case… As someone on your social media feed who lives a balanced, active lifestyle: I have (& have always had) a lower belly “pooch” no matter how much my weight has fluctuated over the years… at my largest, my smallest, my strongest, weakest, happiest, saddest, healthiest, whenever… it’s always been there. We are not at war with our bodies.
