We had a challenging weekend up in Sydney for Kenda. We struggled to get past the 60ft but we were trying to run a PB. Come Raceday we dropped a valve in the burnout for the first qualifier damaging the cylinder Head and a piston. We stripped the engine and replaced the damaged bits and were back on track by round 1. Huge thanks to Frank Dandy Engines and our crew for having the car ready to race again in 2 hours. We then found a bit of piston had gone through the turbo and damaged the rear wheel. We still made it out for round 1 with the damaged turbo but Daniel Szabolics took the win. Thanks to Pac Performance and Aaron from Precision Racing for organising us a new turbo and we had it back on the car ready for round 2 with Wade Wagstaff. This is the video of round 2 above with us going a [email protected] but not enough to get the win with Wade going a 3.69 and winning the event. Congrats to their team and taking home the 10k. Round 3 we had Paul Merry. We decided to crank it more than we ever have but unfortunately we got 1.5 seconds out and spun. I did pedal it and went through for a 4.20@192mph. Congrats to Paul Merry and team for coming runner up and taking the 5k. Huge Thank you to Michael Lynan for keeping RPM running while I am away testing and racing. If it wasn’t for Michael we can’t do what we do. Also a huge thanks to Joel’s Garage Gear for the support we get from them. It was also great to have Joel with us this weekend and helping with everything. Our crew are the best. It’s very stressful running a car to this level, especially when things aren’t going your way.
