AND BREATHE…..finally some time to rest, relax and recover after an incredibly stressful, sad and full 7.5 months. This is our first family trip after losing my Dad and we feel his loss at every corner, especially on Mum’s birthday which we celebrated a few days ago. But we also have the most incredible memories of him and building wonderful new ones with Coco. *** We wanted to make this celebration special for Mum @minaxishah61 as this was her first one solo as an adult so we headed to @casa.reia - an amazing beach club just outside of Lisbon. The day started off grey but by the time we made it to the beach, the sun burnt through the clouds to reveal a glorious beach. The moment you walk through the beach club, the boho beach vibe envelopes you and relaxes you. Food is healthy, fresh and innovative with some delicious dishes including an amberjack crudo, fantastic kale sad and fire roasted aubergine with pistachios. Mains of seafood and meat all cooked on the Josper grill. *** It’s the kind place where you’ll want to stay all day and ease yourself into the evening surrounded by hip Lisbonites. They have an eclectic series of events which sound incredible, and I wish I could have stayed for. Definitely recommend if you are anywhere near Lisbon during the summer season. For us, the perfect day to relax and reconvene our family energy and bond in our new configuration.
