Approximately one year ago, Triptykon's long-standing manager Antje Lange informed me of her wish to step down from her position to pursue new directions in her life. Notwithstanding over 30 years of friendship and 17 years of music industry collaboration, Antje's announcement of departure in 2022 did not come entirely as a surprise. In discussing who would be a competent new manager for my creative ventures, both Antje and I almost immediately agreed on Miles Hackett. In his role as a Director of Repertoire Management at BMG in London, Miles had facilitated an outstanding cooperation with us for both the Hellhammer Apocalyptic Raids reissue in 2020 and the Celtic Frost Danse Macabre box set in 2022. After briefly considering whether he might indeed be morbid enough to tackle the challenge, Miles fortunately accepted our proposal and thus became Triptykon and Triumph Of Death's new manager on 1 October 2022. In the course of the ten months that have since passed, he has proven time and again that our instinct was correct. We couldn't be happier about the contributions, ideas, professionalism, and humanity of our new manager and de facto band member. Miles has made it possible that the risk naturally inherent if a band approaches such crossroads has become an opportunity and advancement. All of us in Triptykon and Triumph Of Death are deeply grateful for the services, far beyond the call of duty, we have been fortunate to receive by both, Antje Lange and Miles Hackett.
