Title: - Establishment of Maratha and Kesari newspaper Size: - 3ft x 5ft Medium: - Acrylic on canvas First of all thank you very much for inviting me for this camp based on the life of resp. Lokmanya Tilak. The subject given for this painting was quite an interesting one and after studying about it more it was all the more fun to paint it. It was a great experience to work with all these esteemed artists and illustrators for this camp, there was so much to learn from everyone's work. And the fun I got to experience with everyone while staying at the Tilak residence (where Lokmanya himself recided for a brief period of time) on Singhgad is something to always cherish. Organizing a camp at such a historical place was a different experience altogether and I must say out of all the camps that I have attended so far, this camp has to be the best for the same reason. It has been very memorable and a pleasure to work on this project. The hard work put in by everyone for making this camp a success is really commendable. Resp. Tilak family, Resp.
