Dear friends and well wishers, I am writing from Skardu in Pakistan right now, and I feel super happy and proud to share that I successfully summited K2, the world’s second highest mountain in the world. I am glad not just coz I reached the top and achieved my dream, but also because I survived. Yes, survival is also the biggest victory for me. I saw death from so closely that I still get chills of fear when I think about it. As you know, K2 is known as the Savage Mountain, and that’s hundred percent correct. It is more difficult to climb than the world’s highest might Everest and has notoriously bad weather conditions. We had a long long wait for good weather, that never actually arrived. Its just that one day got slightly better, and we all walked to try our luck, and succeeded. I have so many things to share from Pakistan and K2, but for now, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of my sponsors, family and friends, supporters and well-wishers (both from offline and online world) for your immense love, concern, wishes and prayers. Gratitude to each of you from the bottom of my heart.
