A good business person must know when it is time to pivot. I like to be fully transparent in my journey for it may help someone else. This year business has took everything out of me. I felt so drained and overwhelmed. Do I regret opening a store? Absolutely not! You know how many great connections I've made from this journey!?😩🙌🏾Do I look at this as a loss? Not at all. I'm taking the good from it all and I feel I've succeeded simply because I DID IT! This is what was best for me 🫶🏾and if I'm not MY best how can I give my best? - - This year I say it's been my "drakes passage"- drakes passage is a part in the ocean where all 4 oceans meet and the turbulence can kill you if you don't steer right! I've had all these storms coming at me at once! I cried. Felt exhausted. At times defeated but just like in the drakes passage - in order to make it out you must ride through it! If you try to steer off you can die. So I've just been riding the waves, turbulence and all- for I KNOW God has something better on the other side. - - I don't care what people think about what appears to be a "public failure" to them. I care to know how I could help someone else with my story. A building can come and go.
