National Day is around the corner. Even as we grapple with the weight of recent strains and bruised trust, it is time to acknowledge that we have much to repair and restore as a nation, but there’s also much to celebrate. National Day is more than a date on the calendar. It’s a vibrant slice of life that brings a nation together through the laughter of families, the cheers of friends, a sense of shared culture and the colours of patriotism. While it's crucial to recognise the weight of heaviness, let's also bear in mind the potency of shaping our collective trajectory. As we celebrate National Day, let's channel our energy towards rebuilding our marriages and strengthening our family ties. Rather than allowing discord and unfaithfulness to wield influence or cause further distraction, each one of us can contribute to the very foundation that fortifies our country’s resilience and prosperous.
