So I got in the @bandainamcous Tekken 1:12 scale action figures in from @amazon . At $26.99 these are inferior to @jadatoys Street Fighter Ryu, a similar scale and price point figures. Whether or not they are worth the $26.99 in general is up to you, but here are my initial thoughts: . + joints were not too tight, almost loose, but hold poses. Over time I fear those joints will just become loose - the heads are too small - the paint is too glossy - the deco of the faces/skin has this… dollar store feel to them. They desperately need a wash or a wash or a matte coat and some other detail work. + their size works with other major 1:12 scale lines. + they hold poses pretty well (I’ll do another post with joint highlights) - Heihachi’s gi is a different texture and material than the pants, and it cannot be removed. + hands down, my favorite part was the “round 1” and “ready” signs and stands. They are already displayed with my Storm Tekken figures. . Overall, I wouldn’t personally recommend running out and getting these, but if you’re a big fan of the series, it’s a minimal investment with some fun upsides. I’d wait until they go on sale or if you have the skills/resources to make them look better (::ahem:: @fiendishfiguresworkshop ::ahem::) . What do you think? Do you have them?
