I am happy to announce something I have been working on for a while now. It is called the “What Is…?”series. Through these short videos I hope to explain basic political and sociological concepts simply. Ideally, these things ought to be taught to us through our NCERTs. Our SST curriculums ought to teach kids concepts such as Racism, Orientalism, Colonialism, etc. But after a certain point, it is also no use pointing fingers. We must try to educate ourselves. I believe that a basic understanding of these concepts will help us enunciate our rights better. When equipped with good political vocabulary, we will be able to put forth our issues more coherently, without being gaslit. So if you are someone who understands nothing of liberal arts and want to understand certain terms, let me know in the comments below and I will try to cover them in future videos!
