In the four volumes of the book series The Egyptian Primal Gnosis written by J. van Rijkenborgh, founder of the Rosicrucian order, a painting by Johfra is included at the beginning of each chapter in the first edition. Johfra has been a student of the Rosicrucian Order for nine years. At the beginning there is an overview and part of the accompanying text. 1. Son of the Serpents, published in the first edition of The Egyptian Primordial Gnosis volume 1 "He has made himself, living, into a grave." From this tomb of nature rises the Son, compared to the golden wedding garment of the new soul. He is the new Mercury, the thrice-great Hermes, his head adorned with the golden prodigious flower of the new mind, in his hands the two fiery serpents of the renewed spinal fluid, the positive and negative face. The five points of contact of the new soul with the transfigured personality shine like roses. He has found his Pymander.
