In the four volumes of the book series The Egyptian Primal Gnosis written by J. van Rijkenborgh, founder of the Rosicrucian order, a painting by Johfra is included at the beginning of each chapter in the first edition. Johfra has been a student of the Rosicrucian Order for nine years. At the beginning there is an overview and part of the accompanying text. 2. The Primeval Mother, published in the first edition of The Egyptian Primordial Gnosis volume 2 The Primordial Mother, seated in the form of a five-pointed star amid constellations that have come into being, receiving the Father-fire or the sevenfold spirit-fire. Through the harmonic interplay between head and heart of the Primeval Mother, head and heart are irradiated by astral light, bringing into existence in the womb of the Primeval Mother a source of living water, the everlasting stream. Thus from the Mother through the seed of the Father, the sonship, the Sonship, becomes a living reality.
