What? What's wrong with jumping into the bandwagon? Perucetus colossus! The newest thicc boi in town, from Peru (home of the best roasted chicken ever, like seriously, the country has awesome food). With a skeleton nearly 3 times as heavy as a Blue Whale's, and over 20 meters in length (on a specimen that was not fully grown at the time of death). Weight estimates put it as low as 84 tons and as high as 340!... the latter perhaps being a bit too much. With a proposed species average of 180 tons. But even a species average that high makes it larger than a Blue Whale, as those get 190 to 200 for the very largest reccorded females (larger than the males). I guess there's still more to be said on the weight estimates, but fascinating nonetheless.
