True story: Last time we went to a Gem Show, I was waiting in line to check out near a crystal girly absolutely losing her mind with happiness- as she found her dream piece that she apparently has been looking for. She picked out this amazing Pink Amethyst and was cradling it like it was her pride and joy already. I wasn’t assuming, because she was talking loudly enough that I could hear her saying how excited she was to finally find what she was looking for, and was already planning where she was going to put it once she got home with it. Hearing people be so excited like this at Gem Shows is one of the amazing things about being in a show atmosphere- all of the excitement that everyone is feeling! . I kinda zoned out (it was a long line) and noticed a few minutes later that she had stepped out of line, and I saw her putting the piece back on the table. As she walked back toward the line I realized she was there with someone who had met up with her while she was waiting, and they said something to the effect of “I don’t know why you liked that. Ugh can we go?! We’ve already been here 30 minutes and this is all JUST ROCKS!” . When I tell you everyone who heard him got real quiet & turned around immediately & gave him the meanest look 🙊😂 . You wanna see a crystal person get upset real quick- call them “just rocks” and tell your girl to “put it back.” You’ll catch some attitude REAL QUICK! It’s crystal lovers canon. 🙌🤣 . .
