If you’re looking for an evening or relaxing, hands on self care, you need to check out @thehivestudioandespresso They have recently started offering new workshops where you can learn how to make your own mug, pinch pots and more! It’s also a great date idea because if things go well, you’re promised another date to paint them together once they are ready! This experience for me personally was so enjoyable. I was able to do everything at my own pace. Our instructor, Aria, was incredible. Spoiler alert - the bottom of mine blew out during the kiln process (which sometimes DOES happen) but they gave me a pottery piece to paint and I think it turned out amazing. Also, the owner is a long time family friend who is also a talented musician, mother and wife and I couldn’t love her more than I currently do.
