We skipped the more go-to style family summer vacay to simply visit a city, and people, we love.. and we wandered and explored and did a LOT! But when we were talking about our favorite moments of the trip, it was the walks between the things, the quiet mornings with nowhere to be, the impromptu picnic… how were we so busy, and so still? I can’t really figure out why it’s so hard to create this kind of space when we’re at home, but this trip makes me want to make every weekend into our own little magical staycay bubble. It’s also worth noting that Chicago has so much for families!! And is home to chosen family (@scottykonair @shelbmaz & Chance 🥰🥰🥰) Some things we did this trip, and would highly recommend: @colorfactoryco @chicagochildrensmuseum @cubs game 🤩 @chicagomagiclounge, Seadog speed boat… saw @mjthemusical (@romanwbanks 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻).. we’ve also done @museumoficecream ! And @swissotelchi offers Kid Suites- seriously you cannot beat the size of the room, included toys/games/baby gear & breakfast + location! #familytime #familyvacation #chicago #summervacation #pricelessmoments
