I'm a 203lbs (92kg), 6"2' (188cm) BJJ brown belt with just shy over 10 years in combat sports. Then I went to @craigjonesbjj and @nickyryanbjj seminar in Zürich🇨🇭Craig, being consistently ranked as one or the best submission grapplers in the world, I was still hoping to provide a relatively decent challenge despite knowing I couldn't win even in theory. To quote my friend Radovan: "You might not have known it, but you entered that fight stillborn". . My "offense" lasted perhaps 15 seconds after which Craig absolutely dismantled me with 5% effort. In comparison that's how I'd do against a scrawny primary school child (all genders welcome to try, go on! Bring it). . 2.) Our crew with the men of the hour! Our club @bjj.mma.cds.ns is consider easily as one of the toughest most technical gyms anyone has ever trained in or visited. That being said we lost collectively every sparring session against Craig without even a point scored. 3.) Find yourself someone who looks at you with the mix of homoaffectivity and pure murder in their eyes that Craig kept giving me 🌈🔪 . 4.)Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries I have visited! But I have to point something out: I paid for a meal of one (1) egg over 20€, that's 22,5 in freedom currency. And it was the cheapest thing on the menu! . 5.)Zürich "wears no statement pieces", but precisely so it's one of the most beautiful cities ever! . 6.)They also have these strange looking cobra duck things. They taste horrible, must be an acquired taste . 7.)So when an elite world class athlete literally ruins you, you have two options: the smart option - give up, or the right one and get right back into the gym. . 8.) No one but your past self cares that you got owned when everyone got owned as well. But use it as fuel. . 9.) Craig intentionally mistook me as a German, but in-true Craig Jones fashion rolled with it so here is a prime example of it at my expense courtesy of the man himself. . 10.)
