In one of my recent Reels I asked which one is your favorite #islay distillery and I was very pleased to see how many of you picked @kilchomanwhisky With all the islay iconic distilleries is unreal to see a relatively a new one ranking so high! The reasons are many, first of all the outstanding quality of the whisky, which is in my opinion undeniable, but also the 100% Islay approach, the revival of traditional farm distillery and the “from barley to bottle approach”. Last but not least the people, an incredible group of very invested, very knowledgeable and passionate whisky lovers. I had to bring with me on my Greek holiday to #lefkada this Kilchoman Fino Sherry Matured, aged exclusively in “the driest of them all” Fino sherry casks. Limited to 15650 bottles and bottled at 50% this little gem of a Single Malt Scotch is certainly a whisky I can’t recommend more!
