Since we’re talking about Alabama… 😏👇🏾 3 hours away from #Montgomery in Huntsville, @jonesfamilywell is fighting for land that was stolen from their (grand) father 60-70 years ago and turned into the University of Alabama (Huntsville)… 🤦🏾‍♂️ And guess what? They offered them a plaque as reparations. Smh. 🤬 This is an example of the SYSTEMIC nature of racism. Not one person was lynched or called the N-word, but they (Willie Jones and his family) were treated as such, as as a result their progeny has taken a substantial loss economically.
