𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁! Who’s always wondered about the process of a lip filler appointment and what it looks like? First, I would like to preface with no one NEEDS lip filler, but do we want it? Heck yes 😎 I love making each lip filler appointment as comfortable as I can cause we all know lips are one of the most sensitive places on the face to inject. So what’s the process look like? 1. We get that numbing cream on and sitting! We want to make the pain as LOW as possible. 2. While you numb, a hyaluronidase patch test may be performed if it hasn’t before to ensure no allergies to the dissolving. In addition, we make sure all your consent forms are signed, and a stress ball is given in case needed. 3. We take photos!! Mainly for before or after, but if you want to throw in a fun selfie, I won’t object. 4. I then lay you flat, as I like to inject you lying down for the best results. 5. Before we get started, I will do a full assessment of your lips and describe precisely where I will inject. 6. I cleanse the area, and we begin! Usually, I start on the top lip; for most people, it is the most sensitive, and then we go to the bottom. 7. When we are done, I will perform a light massage to ensure there are no lumps/bumps and a safety check to ensure blood flow is good! 8. I sit you up and do one last assessment. If any tweaks are needed, they will be done then. 9. Aquaphor is applied, and a mirror is given to check out your new lips!!
