While I find it hard to believe too, the 991.1 GT3 RS was announced around eight years ago now at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015. Nearly eight years old, and to me, the 991.1 GT3 RS has aged exceptionally well. While I know the best generation argument all comes down to personal preference, for me it's relatively simple: the 992 GT3 RS is a little too much. Now, the 992 GT3 RS is a very capable car, I am not denying that, but visually and aesthetically I just do not find it as appealing to the eye as the generations which came before it. In the world of the GT3 RS however, to me, the 991.1 offered one of the best body styles, and this configuration in particular is one which I have always loved. The paint to sample selection for the 991.1 generation was very limited. It was not all that well known, and it was really more of an insider type thing. You really only knew if you knew. With that, paint to sample cars were quite rare to see, and colors really did not get much rarer than this GTS Red GT3 RS. Of all the colors available on the palette, the darker shades of red have always been my personal favorite. Of course I do appreciate other hues here and there, but for me it was always the shades like Pascha Red, Arena Red Metallic, and GTS Red, of course, which were my personal favorites. Not many paint to sample slots were available for the 991.1 in general, and even more specifically the GT3 RS, but this is the only example in the world to be finished in GTS Red. I really haven’t seen very much on this car as of late besides for the occasional post here and there, but it was only recently that a full set was captured on the car, and I was of course more than happy to share it here. This GTS Red GT3 RS is currently available at @porschecentrumleusden € 204,900, and was captured here by @danielruis.
