Has anyone else experienced caregiver burnout & if so, what’s it look like for you? Sorry I've been quiet lately. After Theo's seizures, we've had a bunch more on our plate & I’ve been feeling burned out. 1: Alessia’s left hand stopped opening like it used to & her doctors think it might be caused by something called a Syrinx 2: Insurance decided her daily therapy isn't "medically necessary" anymore, forcing us to stop since June. 🙄 3: We found Theo's blood is "thick," putting him at a higher risk of stroke. 4: Aug 12th marks 3 years since Alessia's accident. It's a tough time for me, emotionally. 🙂 On the bright side, everyone's pushing through, and the kids are loving their summer. Big thanks to everyone who checked in on us. - - - - #caregiver #dad #parent #spinalcordinjury
