Da liegt ein Flugzeugwrack am schwarzen Strand in Island. Das Flugzeug hat auch eine Geschichte. Die Douglas DC-3 gehörte zur US-Navy die damals auf Island stationiert war. Es ist 1973 in Höfn auf Island mit 7 Besatzungsmitgliedern gestartet und sollte Richtung Keflavik fliegen. Doch der Pilot musste notlanden. Alle Passagiere haben überlebt und das Flugzeug ist heute zum wunderbaren Lost Place auf Island geworden. Wir waren mit @camperdays.de vor Ort und haben uns das selbst mal angeschaut und eindrucksvolle Bilder machen können.
