Guess who just graduated with 7 awards and 8 medals, as the best student in her class 🎉🎈🎊🎁❤️ Join me in congratulating her. 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 I am overfilled with excitement and gratitude because days like this make the entire journey worth it ❤️ I am thankful to all the friends and @Slum2School volunteers who showed up for Maryam over the past 6 years. You are real Superheroes!!!🦹‍♀️🦹🏾‍♂️ I remember when Maryam, Sisianu, Deborah, and Mustapha all got scholarships to study in Abuja in 2019, and we were worried about how we'd pay for their flight tickets to/from Abuja to Lagos, six times a year. But four years later, I am thankful that all of them are done, and three are already at the University. 🎖🎖 And for Maryam graduating as the best in her class, it is such an emotional moment for me because I know how tough it was, and how many times we had to call friends during holidays to have her stay at their places, to pick her up from the airport, and in many instances to go visit her during visiting days.❤️ I am thankful to all the friends who showed up and very thankful to Word Of Faith School and A.G Ms Daisy for being a shining light for children like Maryam.🙏🏽✨️❤️ Thanks to her mom and dad for also being very supportive. They send their greetings to everyone of you who also co-parented Maryam 💙 Maryam arrives in Lagos today, and we'll be having our annual celebration for her and our other graduating kids in a fortnight.
