Happy Sunday my friends ☀️ Today, I would like to talk about definition of “public speaking”. In this ever-changing world, where the metaverse and Covid have reshaped our lives, the definition of public speaking has evolved. It’s no longer limited to standing on a stage and delivering a speech. It now encompasses all forms of communication, whether it’s online or offline, virtual or in-person. It’s about the way we communicate with others, the interactions we have with our loved ones, colleagues, partners, and even strangers. It’s about the words we choose, the tone we use, and the impact we have on others. So, let’s take a moment to reflect on our own communication skills. Are we mindful of the way we speak to different audiences? Do we find ourselves using filler words like “um” or “uh”? Do we get nervous or anxious when speaking in public? Improving our communication skills is something we can all work on. It starts with self-awareness and a willingness to make changes. Today, I challenge you to take a step towards becoming a better communicator. Practice speaking without relying on filler words, work on managing your nerves, and strive to connect with your audience on a deeper level.
